Paranormal Merseyside was written by Widnes author Steven Tucker, 31.It features stories such as the tale of Spring-Heeled Jack, a mysterious figure who is said to have made an appearance in Southport during the 1800’s, resulting in the death of a seven-year-old girl, The Great Leprechaun Invasion of 1964, The Pig-Killing Poltergeist of Runcorn, and The Skelmersdale Thing – a rumoured flying car-like UFO.
